Our Coaches

Marcos Nardini

All of our coaches were awarded their black belts by Marcos Nardini. Marcos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu third-degree black belt with many years of coaching experience. He is a multiple time IBJJF champion. Marcos’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey started in 1998 in his hometown of Socorro, just outside Sao Paulo in Brazil. In 2006, Marcos was awarded his black belt under Professor Amal Easton. We are extremely grateful to have Marcos as a mentor and friend.

Joke Love

In 2016, Joke became the first person to earn a BJJ black belt from Marcos Nardini and the first native black belt in Ayrshire. A strong proponent of functional technique, Joke will help you learn valuable skills that transcend the sporting aspects of BJJ. Joke is widely recognized among his peers as an exceptional talent and a true innovator, his classes consistently create a fantastic training environment, playing a vital role in our team's success.

David Sharp

David received his black belt from Marcos in 2022. As a dedicated coach, he is passionate about studying the sport, staying updated with the latest techniques, and, above all, helping people achieve their best. David firmly believes that Jiu-Jitsu has the potential to transform lives, just as it did for him. Consistently delivering unwavering dedication and effort to the team, week in and week out, he ensures the best possible training experience for everyone.
